“I was there last night and was impresses with the band (All Those Years Ago). I am a musician myself and do not hand out praise unless It’s deserved. 4 good musicians with a diverse set list. The song choices were great and I do not recall hearing a band start out with a Badfinger song! The vocals and harmony were good, and the drummer’s timing was spot on. Gigs like the one at Fat Cat can be challenging as you are forced to play at a lower level which makes it hard keeping the stage level down, but you guys did a good job!”
– John Hempker – Fat Cat Pizza, Lancaster, OH, 6/18/16

“Thank you Peter…you were da bomb last night. We all enjoyed your performance! And what a show it was…bet you didn’t expect a fill-in gig to have been like that! But…that’s a Rockside crowd and they really enjoyed you being there Friday night.”
Tim McIntire – Rockside Winery, Lancaster, OH  4/1/16

Peter Conrad knows how to put on a fine show; bringing EVERYONE to their feet, dancing and yelling for more. That was a real treat to be a part of. This is one of THE most fun musicians you'll find out there. Thank you, Peter!”
Rick Barr, Hocking Hills Winery, Logan, OH 3/19/16
♪  “I spent a delightful evening, enjoying the musical talents of Peter Conrad as he performed an array of gems made popular by The Beatles, Elvis, ELO, Badfinger, Simon & Garfunkel, and others.”

Some highlights from Peter's career, so far . . .
From 1997 to 2009, Peter hosted over 500 ‘Open Stages’, at the Dolphin Lounge in Gahanna, OH and the Thirsty Ear in Grandview, OH. He has appeared at clubs, festivals, benefits and special events in Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, Indiana, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington DC, Florida, Canada, England, and Scotland.  In addition to his solo shows, he also performs at Beatle-themed music festivals with his band, the TRAVELING BEATLEBURYS.

In 2002, Peter was invited to perform his tribute song to George Harrison, “Goodbye George,” at the first Abbey Road On The River, the largest Beatles music inspired festival in the United States. Peter has appeared as a solo performer and with The Traveling Beatleburys at all 15 of the AROTRs and at other Beatle-related festivals and shows in the USA, Canada, & Great Britain.

In 2003, Peter was invited by George Harrison’s sister, Louise, to perform in Benton, IL for the benefit concert “It was 20 Years Ago Today,” celebrating the 20 anniversary of George’s first visit to the USA to visit his sister, before the Beatles invaded America.  In 2007, he was one of the headliners for the George Harrison Beatle Fest in Benton, IL, and for the same event in 2008, he opened for The Pete Best Band.
From 2004 to 2010, Peter has performed in Liverpool, England, at the legendary Cavern Club, and in 2010, as part of a UK tour, played a sold-out show at the  Cumbernauld Theater near Glasgow, Scotland, opening for the band Itchycoo Park

Peter organized and performed at two ‘George Harrison Tribute’ benefit shows in Grandview, Ohio, first at the Thirsty Ear Tavern in 2002 and later at Woodlands Tavern in 2011, raising over $7,000 from these two events for the Columbus Cancer Clinic.  Other benefits he has performed at over the years, were for the American Red Cross of Greater Columbus, the annual ‘Elvis Birthday-A-Thon’ benefits for the Columbus Open Shelter, ‘Seed For The Soul’ in Pickerington, Ohio and the benefit for ‘St. Joseph Children’s Home’ in Louisville, Kentucky.

Peter's latest CD,  "Songs By The Fab 4" (2015), is a collection of Beatle & solo-Beatle  songs written by George Harrison, John Lennon & Paul McCartney. The 12 tracks are from some of Peter's live dates and studio sessions he has recorded over the past 3 years.

“ ‘The Empire Beatles Weekend is much more intimate than many of the bigger fests, and concentrates more than some festivals do on the music of The Beatles as presented through the various musicians and bands performing,’ says Peter Conrad from the Traveling Beatleburys. ‘All of the bands playing this years’ Weekend all know each other, and there’s a great camaraderie and a whole lotta love for each other, both as musicians and as friends. The audience will see, hear, and feel the love that we all have for each other, for The Beatles, and for the audience,’ he says. Tickets for Belleville’s annual Beatles celebration go on sale Saturday.”
             – Q-Net News, Belleville, Ontario, Canada – 6/11/13
“Peter Conrad, the guitarist and vocalist for the Traveling Beatleburys, has appeared at Abbey Road on the River in some capacity for the last 10 years, as a solo artist, and within a group.  The set was amazing to witness and I was mesmerized listening to Peter rocking out with his George Harrison inspired guitar while smiling and entertaining the crowd. After the show, I caught up with Peter to hear how this came together.  Peter explained, ‘To bring the Beatles alive is an honor, and a pleasure.  I love seeing all the families here dancing and enjoying the festival.’
“As to other musical accomplishments, the list is long, and distinguished.  Peter began playing guitar in 1964 and has been featured in many groupings.  He released his 1 solo CD Dream Come True’ in 1997, Goodbye George’ in 2002, and Half Alive’ in 2005.  Peter handed me a CD after we chatted and I played it on the way home.  WOW! is all I can say.  If ever you have the chance to see Peter Conrad live or with his group, take it!”  – Louisville Examiner – 6/6/11
“The group that shook the world and rocked a generation leaves a legacy of philanthropy through the summer event
Abbey Road on the RiverThe festival celebrates all things Beatles, while donating proceeds to the American Red Cross. The event features groups from all over the world, including our very own Peter Conrad, who will be featured as a solo artist. The event website describes Peter as ‘A veteran of every Abbey Road on the River there ever was!’ As a solo artist, Peter covers George Harrison songs, the Beatles, as well as other classic giants like Bob Dylan and Roy Orbison. We couldn’t be more proud of our very own Beatle and his constant support of the American Red Cross!
“Stephen Carney, longtime Red Cross blood donor, financial donor, and a longtime fan of Peter’s, says, ‘Peter is a great musician and a great guy. I encourage everyone to try to see one of his shows, solo or with any of his many bands.’ ”
     – American Red Cross of Greater Columbus, Chapter Blog – 7/20/11
“The Dolphin Lounge Tuesday acoustic open stage became a regular outing for Peter Conrad, who began attending in 1994. One night, the host didn’t show up and he was asked to fill in. Seeing his potential, the owner asked him to host other nights, and before long he was juggling up to four nights a week. He ended up with the plum Saturday gig, playing classic rock, staying on for the next ten years.”
–OSU Lantern – “Remembering Columbus’ Underground Impresario” – 10/15/10
“Pete Best, original drummer for the Beatles (1960-62), will headline the Oct. 4 Benton George Harrison Beatle Fest in the southern Illinois town of Benton. There will be a noon concert by Peter Conrad, where he will  debut his new song ‘113 McCann,’ a 5-minute chronicle of the events surrounding George Harrison’s 1963 visit to his sister Lou’s house, of the same address. The main concert begins at 6:30 pm with a performance by Peter Conrad, and the Pete Best Band hits the stage at 8:00 pm.”   Evansville Courier – 11/18/08
"The drive out to the Dolphin Lounge can be lonely, at least at night anyway.  The Lounge is situated where many blues lounges have been built historically: close to travel, accessible from many ways, implying a sense of transience and passing and loss.
"What's cool about this place is that there are always open tages," says Peter Conrad, a longtime Dolphin patron and the six year host of the Saturday night rock 'n' roll jam session.  The calendar is filled with these open stage opportunities.  In fact, the business cards advertise "Open Stages 5 Nights a Week w/Hosts & Rhythm Sections. "For the most part, it's a musician's bar," insists Conrad. "I've seen bands form here that are playing all over Columbus."  Indeed, members of Watershed have tried out new material to the eager Dolphin crowd before taking the songs elsewhere under their real name.
